Donated Goods Employment Services
Through its donated goods business, Goodwill Industries-Manasota, Inc. creates jobs, opportunity wages and provides family coaching services through our GoodPartner Coaches for persons with disabilities and other barriers to self-sufficiency. Our Good Partner Coach was noted as being an exemplary program by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities International (CARF). GoodNeighbor Connection
Goodwill's GoodNeighbor centers provide human-service programs designed to meet the specific needs and interests of the local residents, often through strategic alliances between Goodwill, local volunteer groups and other organizations. We also offer information and referral services to everyone who seeks assistance.
White Glove Service
During the transitions of life — downsizing due to a change in health; empty nest as children go off to college; divorce; death of a loved one — Goodwill stands by to help. Our White Glove Service team will pack and pick up the entire contents of your home. Along with a possible tax deduction, you have the satisfaction of knowing you've changed someone's life.
Mission Development Services
Goodwill Manasota assists other Goodwills in creating jobs and opportunity wages through the development of their donated goods employment services programs, thereby extending and expanding the mission of both Goodwills. In 2009 alone, Goodwill Manasota helped to create over 250 jobs in places like Nevada, Mississippi, Arizona and Tennessee!
