We all benefit when you donate your vehicle to Goodwill, here's how:
- Benefit to you
You'll be entitled to a TAX DEDUCTION if you routinely file a schedule A with our taxes. And you'll AVOID THE HASSLE of strangers coming to look at your vehicle or having to pay to have it towed away!
- Benefit to Goodwill
We'll sell that vehicle an provide services to a family seeking a hand up toward self-sufficiency. After all, our business is changing lives!
- How do I donate?
Just call 941.487.3566 and speak to Tom, Vicki or Doug. They'll arrange a time for you to drop the vehicle by or arrange for a FREE PICK UP within as little as 24 hours!
- How long does it take?
It only takes a few moments. Just bring your vehicle and signed title to us.
- What can I donate?
WE TAKE IT ALL. Bring in anything with a title — cars, vans, trucks, boats on a road-worthy tailer, RVs, motorcycles and airplanes. We also take golf carts...and houses!
- What if it doesn't run?
We don't mind. We'll tow it FOR FREE.
- How is my tax deduction figured?
You'll be responsible for determinig the value of your donation up to $500. For vehicles that sell for more than $500, Goodwill provides written documentation of the sale price within 30 days of the sale. You many deduct up to that amount. Always check with a professional tax advisor.
- What if I want to BUY a vehicle?
To see our vehicles visit us at 7981 N. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota, Florida, which is just north of University Parkway on US 41 or visit our listing page. Donating a vehicle or buying a vehicle helps us provide donated goods employment services for people with disabilities and barrirers to employment. Thank you! Open Monday — Friday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Sunday noon to 5 p.m.
