Goodwill is in the business of helping people in our communities through the resale of your donations. That's right, 100 percent of what you give stays in the community to help fund job training, employment, and other vital services for individuals with disabilities and other barriers to employment.

Not every charity that solicits donations can make that promise. Some are run by for-profit organizations that solicit your donations under the name of a specific charity, but only a small percentage of the profits actually go to the charity.

By donating usable merchandise to Goodwill, you are giving others in our communities' the chance to succeed. Plus, we make it easy to donate. We have convenient drive-thru donation centers with friendly team members to assist you with carefully unloading your donations. We welcome your tax-deductible donations at any of our Good Neighbor Centers in Flagstaff, Cottonwood, Sedona, and Bullhead City, or our drive-thru centers in Kingman and Lake Havasu. Besides giving someone a hand up, you'll walk away with a receipt for your tax-deductible donation.

Goodwill is once again hosting the Fat Tuesday Street Party on Tuesday, February 16, 2010! The party has become a Sarasota tradition, transforming Michael's on East into Sarasota's version of Bourbon Street! The Fat Tuesday Street Party celebrates in the best Mardi Gras tradition with fine New Orleans cuisine (seven food stations serving everything from jambalaya to crab cakes), Dixieland and dance music and street entertainers. It's the fun event of the season. Come casual, come in costume, but come. Celebrate Fat Tuesday and raise money for Goodwill in support of job training and essential human services for those with barriers to employment. Laissez les bon temps rouler! For you non-Cajuns, that mean, "Let the good times roll!"
