- How do I donate?
- Call 487-3566 to arrange a free pickup within 24 hours of your call, or take your vehicle to your nearest Goodwill. All you need to have is your signed title and keys!
- How long does the process take?
- A few minutes if you bring the vehicle and signed title to us. Or we can arrange for a free pick up, usually within 24 hours of your call.
- What kinds of donations are accepted?
- We accept automobiles, vans, trucks, boats (must be on a roadworthy trailer), RVs, motorcycles, airplanes, even houses - anything with a title.
- Do you accept non-running vehicles or vessels?
- Yes.
- How is the tax deduction determined?
- You will be responsible for determining the value of your donation up to $500. The Kelly Blue Book website is useful when determining the value of a vehicle. For vehicles that sell for more than $500, Goodwill will provide written confirmation of the sale price within 30 days of sale. You may deduct up to that amount. Always check with a professional tax advisor.
- When do I receive my donation receipt?
- If you bring your vehicle to Goodwill, one of our donor greeters will provide you with a donation receipt on the spot. If we pick up your donation, our tow truck driver will provide your receipt at the time of the pick up. If your vehicle sells for more than $500, you will receive written confirmation from us regarding sale proceeds.
